LOTSA BLOOD

I had a very traumatic experience today.

Cory tried to take my blood, thinking he could save us some money......

Actually I went to the doc today 3 more lbs gained totaling 10 total...

8-20-07 28weeks

I drank the dreaded cocktail, and to tell ya the truth it wasn't that bad.I had a icee machine that i purchased when i had that craving. So i grind down some ice and put the lemon lime drink right on top of it. tasted just like a summer sweet limon icee. I got a bit shaky and felt like i just down a pot of coffee, but i held it down. I got to the doctors and they made me wait for 1 hr before they took my blood, I don't think it was intentional cause they didn't waste any time sticking me with a huge needle. the nurse pulled out the needle and quickly put a small piece of gauze that i assure you was once white. then placed a small child scrap size band aid on the now oozing hole in my arm. the pressure began to build and then like the sound of a small water balloon popping it sent a stream of crimson blood streaming to my wrist. I thought briefly "i 'm not sure this is right", then i went to grab the nurse. I guess to them it was no biggy, so she chuckled quietly and wiped up the mess saying, "better get used to this honey, there is alot more of this scene in the delivery room" yikes!!!!!
