Christmas!!!!

Christmas morning, This year we gave her the real gifts that she could use now,unlike last years Duke University Application.

We got her a mini sofa, a radio, a big kid trike, and a potty ( more for me then her).

The pink coat is her winter coat its not cold enough her so she just gets to wear it in the house under the cool air of the AC. Christmas day it was 80 degrees, with 100% humidity. Today of course when we went out to use her big kid bike it was not that nice so she had to wear a jacket courtesy of her uncle Kenny and Aunt Julie. she was pretty excited and ready to go out for a ride and it shows in the picture.

You can take it however you want,if Charly being so adorable is a gift for you than that is what i mean,or we got a dress from Cory's aunt in Oregon that is also what it could mean or that maybe she is my wonderful, precious, amazing,indescribable, all my love, better than sex, its like riding a bike, chocolate on a PMs day kinda gift. I am so glad i had a girl it is like having a living whining doll.

I speak for charly in saying "thank goodness I won't have to play alone"

I am defiantly not the picture of a great aunt. All great aunts have a big nose with a wart strategically placed on the tip that seems to have enlarged pours and looks a bit bubbly and it might have a few stray hairs poking out of it. Then they all have glasses that have gone out of style more than their age group ever could have worn and have a lens that has been broken and replaced more than once with a crack in the frame and if they get to excited the lens pop out, then she forces the rest of the family to spend the entire afternoon looking for the cheep scratched piece of glass. I most defiantly do not wear long straight paisley print skirts that sway from side to side in sink with my 2 ton, bigger than my top booty.

Just in case ya'll thought that the name of great aunt comes with the look I wanted to clarify that.

Texas state Aquarium

11-9-08 we took a family trip to the Texas state aquarium in Corpus Christy. It was not sea world but it was really fun. Charly loved it!!!!!
There was a dolphin Show and she was clapping throughout the entire thing, then when the crowd would cheer and get excited she did to (sometime a little late),but still she cheered.
Then we went to Macy's and she got to pick out her own dress this is what she is wearing in our up coming Christmas pictures just wait it is stinkn adorable. This was a very exciting weekend and just think we have at least 17 more to go before she starts celebrating them with someone else.
We just found out today that Charly has a 2nd cousin Hayden Timothy Howell (welcome) 11-13-08.

Charly is 1 today!!

She has a beautiful black and white poke-a dot b-day dress that of course got covered in cake. During the evening we decorated the living room, with 50 balloons, streamers, and stars. She woke up and walked into the living room, her eyes got very wide and she started to clap. Then she ran over( since she has to run everywhere, walking is for amateurs) to the pile of balloons and tried to bite em. It only took her a second or two to see the gifts and start to tear at the paper. I had to slow her down until the rest of the house got up so they could see her open them to. She doesn't waste any time, a girl know a gift when she sees one...

Charly's 1st Halloween,

The last first Holiday, she will be 1 soon and the first will be over. We took her trick or treating,it was so cute she was snow white and in a adorable little costume. She was walking all over the place up and down the street. Everybody was commenting on how stinkin cute she was, she was so into it that she would automatically leave one house and go to the next waving and smiling at the people giving away candy. Then at 1 house she said "thank You" to the lady giving her candy. Her bucket got really full and thought it was kinda heavy but she only dropped it once, after she had gotten pretty tired. We got in the car and she dug into it, a sucker in 1 hand and smarties in the other.

I dressed her up in 3 different outfits, I tried to get the perfect picture to put on her birthday invites. I think we took 50 pic with 3 wardrobe changes and only got these pictures to show for it. the rest were her crying, walking toward me or playing. I think i am getting pretty good at taking pictures on the move. We finally did get one put to a card and i mailed them out on Thursday.Oct 30Th.

Last night Charly carved her very own pumpkin. At first Cory took a small amount of pumpkin guts and tried to get her to touch it. She was not having any of that and tried to run around his legs to get away from it, the entire time screaming in panic. Then I gave her a touch and she was sucked in for life, she then realized it was fun to smush it and of course eat. The pumpkin was so small i was having a hard time getting my hand into it but her little hand fit perfectly. It was a perfect Charly size punkin.

I made no bake cookies and after Charly emptied out all my pots and pans from the cupboard i took off her clothes (since it is easier to clean the kid than the kid and the clothes) and put the pan in front of her it was so cute and funny and she loved it I am a super hero at least in the eyes of one little person...
