easter morning!

Charly got up fairly early Easter morning, so we hid her Easter basket that of course was filled with candy. She woke up saw it and started clapping, then imdiatly sat down and starting putting as much jelly beans in her mouth as possible.

After she had a candy meltdown and crashed from the high we hid the Easter egg out side. We put on her Easter dress that cost us $50 and took her outside to hunt the eggs. We only hid 11 since we were down a man do to charly's hunger. Cory just put them on the ground outside,and we got her little Easter basket and took her out there. She saw her 1st egg and was hooked, she gasped and ran to it. putting in her basket like it was the natural thing to do.

Then she went around and picked up all 11, she gasped every time and was so excited she clapped and shrieked. Her basket was so heavy with the eggs that Cory tried to help her but she said"nope" and started dragging it.

then we brought her in the house took off her Easter dress and let her eat more candy,and gave her the eggs no shell this time. She eventually ate all her candy, the eggs and i even got her to eat a small taste of turkey. It was a very fun Family day, we went outside after and drew with her new chalk, we read books and played hide and seek in the house. she helped me cook roles for dinner.Days like those are never long enough...

easter eggs!

This is the 1st Easter that Charly got do it all.

We cooked the eggs and she was so excited to color them, we had little plastic cups and i layed out all the paper i could find. Then took off her clothes. she did really good for a while, then she started getting impatient, she picked up 1 egg from a color and put in in the other colors. all of the eggs were broken and cracked. then i went to put the camera down and looked back at her and she was eating 1. she had the egg shell in her mouth and was spitting in out. then she was a little raptor, picking the egg out of the shell with her finger.

going to the beach!

We went to Port Aransas, by padre Island, TX. My sister Mel and her son Jake came to visit TX. first in my family to come to this state, and we were so busy charly was sitting in her car seat for 5 mins and would fall asleep. We had a great time! After these pic at the beach we went to an ice cream shop, The shop had the air on full blast it was a bit cold. Charly sat on the table with her ice cream cone and shook as she licked it. She kept saying burr, over and over again between licks. Then she gave me her cone to hold while she licked it. So i felt so bad for her i went into the bathroom clogged the sink and filled it with hot water.Then i just plunked her down in it she said "ahh it was so cute.Mel went home and started talking about her trip and what do you know my parents are finally coming to visit me... gymnastics

She started going to tiny tumblers gymnastics. It is so cute she gets to do somersaults, walk on a beam, jump on a grown-up trampoline, and dive into a huge pit full of foam chunks. The entire class is age 3 and under, so all these little one are all so uncoordinated and adorable.

(of course mine is the cutest, and the smartest and gonna be a Olympic gold medal winner). look at the pictures and decide for yourself.

growing up

Charly is getting so big! She has no problem telling you exactly what she wants. I ask her do you want to go outside, "yep" i say you wanna change your clothes"nope" and today she told me as i turned a corner to fast in the car "Whoa Mom, Whoa".

Charly has a found a little cubby hole cupboard that is supposta be used for laundry and she loves to get in it and read her books. The other pictures are Cory once again thinking we have a boy. Charly already has batman PJ's now Cory found Superman PJ's so of course she has to have em. I have to admit they are pretty darn cute!

charly at Gran and Gramps.

Charly went to visit Idaho Falls in January. There was snow everywhere and it never stopped snowing. She got to go out and help build a snow man. (k not really she just picked up a little snow and tried not to slip in it.) Then she got to play with two little dogs that she could push around unlike her big dog at home. It took almost all week for charly to warm up to everyone there. Then the last 2 days charly was comfy enough to sit on grandmas lap. Grandpa was a different story he is much harder to get used to.
